Eating Disorders Work Group
The Eating Disorders Work Group is chaired by B. Timothy Walsh, M.D. and is composed of 10 members (biosketches and disclosure information for each Work Group member).

Proposed revisions of eating disorders criteria
Among the work group’s proposals is the recommendation that binge eating disorder be recognized as a free-standing diagnosis apart from the Appendix. Also, it is being recommended that the Eating Disorders category be renamed Eating and Feeding Disorders to reflect the proposal for inclusion of feeding disorders.The amenorrhea criterion for anorexia nervosa has been removed.
