Provides purportedly the only complete overview of every DSM-IV diagnostic criterion for every disorder, in a simplified form, for professionals, patients, and others. James Morrison plugs his book DSM-IV Made Easy, Guildford Press. See also the following link for another (less thorough) overview.

Internet Mental Health
The Internet Mental Health site provides a complete overview of the classifications, which can be sorted alphabetically or by category. The DSM-IV definitions can easily be compared to ICD-10 or other codes. There are also links to "online diagnoses" (payment required, $10 for 10 days), as well as to everything there is to know about treatment possibilities, research, information pamphlets, and journal articles.
Internet Mental Health is a private, unsponsored initiative of the Canadian psychiatrist Philip Long, whose vision and hope is that the free exchange of information and open access to relevant and good data leads to better care.

Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI)
Most websites about the integration of the psychotherapeutic methods can be characterised as unscientific, ideological, and/or commercial. One exception is the website of SEPI, an organisation founded in the US in the 80s by Goldfried and Wachter. This website provides a collection of documents about various aspects of psychotherapy integration, not without the occasional critical note.

An Open Door Review of Outcome Studies in Psychoanalysis

Developed by the Research Committee of the International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA), it is a veritable encyclopaedia of research abstracts. The "Open Door" aspect means that the results are continually updated with new research.

The International Association of Group Psychotherapy (IAGP)
The goal of the IAGP, which has been in existence over 40 years, is the dissemination of group therapy practice, training and study, by means of international conferences and publications. It is based on the premise that the various group theories and treatment practices are equal and is aimed at professionals from many political and cultural backgrounds. Its activities include a biannual international conference and regional conferences, the development of networks around such themes as psychodrama, group analysis, family therapy, therapeutic communities, and organisational consulting. There has been a lot happening in the world of psychotherapy with regard to Empirically Supported (formerly Validated) Treatments (EST) . The most recent list of ESTs consists of interventions for bulimia, chronic headaches, chronic pain, depression, couples counseling, enuresis, general anxiety disorder, OCD, panic disorder, PTSS and specific phobias. The documents which the American Psychological Association's Task Force on Psychological Interventions has published over the years can be consulted and downloaded from various sites. See the links under "Disorder oriented pscyhotherapeutic methodology" above.
These describe not only the treatment but also the treatment protocols and possibilities for training and supervision, all of them however in the United States.
